Apply your car tag correctly.
CAR TAG APPLICATION
Step 1: Unpack Your Tag
Remove your car tag from its packaging.
We use recycled cardboard boxes to help keep the PVC tag in perfect shape during transport. Once PVC is creased or bent, it can affect the overall look and feel of the tag. Unfortunately, this is something we can’t always control once the parcel is with the courier.
Handle your tag gently as you remove it from the plastic sleeve.

Step 2: Prepare and Fold the Tag
Inside your tag, you will see two areas with double-sided tape, shown as blue strips in the illustration. The one tape section sits on the inside of your tag (the grey backing where no artwork appears).
- Carefully remove the blue protective backing from the tape on the inside area.
- Line up the edges of the tag precisely; correct alignment is important to maintain the tag’s shape.
- Once stuck together, please DO NOT crease the folded edge.
The fold should stay rounded to create the signature “water droplet” shape shown in the illustration. This rounded fold is not only aesthetic; it also helps give the tag added rigidity. A hard crease may cause the tag to collapse or flop more easily, depending on placement.

Step 3: Choose the Right Location on Your Vehicle
For best results:
- Carefully remove the protective backing from the outer tape, or remove the hook side of the VELCRO®.
- Select a flat surface inside the seam of your boot or door, with at least 2 cm of depth.
- This allows the tag to sit securely while protruding cleanly from the body of the car.
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
- For long-term hold, apply the tape or hook side of the VELCRO® directly to the metal body of your vehicle.
- You may install it on plastic trim panels as long as the surface is smooth and glossy, not matte or textured.
- Do not apply the tag to rubber door or boot seals; the adhesive will not bond properly to these surfaces.
