1. General Overview

Tag Your Car (“TYC”, “we”, “us”) provides customised automotive tags made to order based on customer specifications. By placing an order on this website, the customer (“you”) agrees to the Terms & Conditions outlined below.

These terms serve as a binding agreement governing all purchases, communications, and interactions with TYC, including products ordered online, via email, or through social media.

 

2. Production Schedule

To reduce material waste and ensure batch manufacturing efficiency, TYC submits production files every Monday morning.

• Orders approved before Monday will enter the next production batch.
• Production takes 5–10 business days from the Monday of submission.
• Lead times may extend during high-volume periods, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.

 

3. Delivery & Courier Responsibility

Orders are shipped via third-party couriers.

• Delivery typically takes up to 3 business days, depending on location.
• Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.
• Once an order has left our premises, responsibility for delays, loss, theft, or damage transfers to the courier.
• TYC will assist with tracking or claims, but is not liable for courier-related issues.

 

4. Digital Proofing, Sign-Off & E&O Protection

All customised orders require approval of a digital proof before production. 

By approving your proof (via email, WhatsApp, DM, or any written format), you confirm:

• All spelling, colours, icons, images, and design elements are correct.
• The final product will be produced exactly as approved.
• TYC is not responsible for any errors or omissions (E&OE) after sign-off.

Any changes requested after approval may result in additional fees or new lead times.

 

5. Colour, Material & Finish Variations

Customers acknowledge that:

Colours viewed on screens may differ from printed colours due to device display settings.

Slight shade or texture variations are normal in printed products and materials.

These variations do not qualify as defects or grounds for refund or replacement.

 

6. Customer-Supplied Artwork, Logos & Trademarks

 Customers are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal rights to use any:

• Logos
• Trademarks
• Characters
• Images
• Brand names
• Copyrighted material

provided to TYC for custom production.

By submitting artwork, the customer confirms:

They have obtained all necessary permissions and rights.

They accept full responsibility for any copyright or trademark infringement.

TYC accepts no liability for improper use of third-party intellectual property supplied by customers.

 

7. Use of Third-Party Logos on Our Website

TYC occasionally displays examples of completed customer orders.

All trademarks, logos, brand names, and copyrighted material displayed:

• Remain the property of their respective owners
• Are used strictly for the demonstration of work completed upon customer request
• Do not imply endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, or affiliation 

If any trademark owner requests removal, TYC will comply promptly.

 

8. TYC Product Design Protection

All Tag Your Car tag designs - including but not limited to:

• Sizes
• Shapes
• Dimensions
• Layouts
• Templates
• Material compositions
• Production methods
• Finishes
• Functional elements

 Overall product format are the exclusive intellectual property of Tag Your Car.

 Customers may not:

• Copy
• Reproduce
• Reverse-engineer
• Imitate
• Modify
• Redistribute
• Commercialise

any part of the TYC product line without written permission.

The purchase of a product does not transfer any intellectual property rights.

 

9. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations

Because all products are custom-made, TYC maintains the following policy:

• Orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.
• TYC does not offer refunds for incorrect information supplied by the customer.
• Returns are only accepted in the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect.
• Defects do not include design errors approved by the customer or colour variations.

If a manufacturing defect is identified:

TYC will inspect the item

At our discretion, we may repair or reproduce the item

Replacement tags may require additional production time

 

10. Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Information

The customer is responsible for providing accurate:

• Full name
• Address
• Contact number
• Delivery instructions

TYC is not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by:

• Incorrect address information
• Missing unit/complex details
• Undeliverable parcels
• Customer unavailability

Additional delivery fees may apply for re-delivery or route returns.

 

11. Pricing & Payment

All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Orders will only enter production once payment has been received in full.

Any additional design changes after proof sign-off may incur extra charges.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

TYC’s liability is limited to the cost of the product purchased.

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of profits
• Loss of business
• Reputational damage
• Delays
• Indirect damages
• Customer error

or any consequences arising from customer-supplied content.

 

13. Updates to Terms

TYC may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of this website constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
