Refunds, Returns & Warranty Policy – Tag Your Car
At Tag Your Car, your satisfaction is our priority. If you need to return, exchange, or report a factory fault with your tag, please review the terms below, aligned with South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act (CPA) for online purchases.
LOCAL REFUNDS (South Africa Only)
You may return an item for a refund within 14 days of receiving it, provided it meets the following conditions:

The item is in its original condition (unused, undamaged, unmodified).

It is returned in the original packaging.

It was purchased directly from our online store: www.tagyourcar.co.za.
Please note:

Return courier/shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

We reserve the right to inspect the item before approving the refund.
LOCAL EXCHANGES
Items can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:

The product must be in original, unused condition.

It must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

It must have been purchased from www.tagyourcar.co.za.
Customers are responsible for the shipping cost to return and resend the exchanged item.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS (Outside South Africa)
Please note that all international sales are final. Due to logistical and customs complexities, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for international purchases at this time.
FACTORY FAULTS & WARRANTY COVERAGE
We stand by the quality of our tags and offer a 3-month limited warranty for factory defects from the date of delivery.
What’s covered:

Manufacturing faults or defects in materials under normal use.
What’s not covered:

General wear and tear
-
Accidental damage or misuse

Improper installation or handling
-
Cosmetic damage (scratches, tears, fading due to excessive use of cleaning detergents)

Damage due to unauthorised modifications or repairs
-
Items not purchased from www.tagyourcar.co.za
If your tag is defective within 3 months of purchase, send us clear images showing the issue, along with your order number. If confirmed to be a factory fault, we’ll replace the tag at no cost to you.

Once we receive your request, we’ll review it and get back to you with the next steps. For returns that require shipping, we’ll provide instructions and the correct return address. Once the item is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund, exchange, or replacement.
